Couple pics from Cairnes and Sydney,Australia :) This is the Sofitel we stayed at in Cairnes. The room was so nice. I was sad to leave =(
 
Bathroom opens up so you can have a view of the outside from the bathtub :) The shower was great and even doubled as a sauna.
We went scuba diving off the Great Barrier Reef too but I haven't developed those pics yet. The water was really warm and had good visibility. We got to play with some sea cucumbers and saw tons of fish. Even saw a few turtles and rays. One of the guys in the dive group saw a shark but we missed it. =( They said the shark had been in the area the past 2 or 3 days and thats why they chose that site. Maybe when we go to hawaii in sept we can see one :D
Here's us eating at the Ochra. They're famous for their australian meats.
That's emu on the left and kangaroo on the right. They were actually prepared and cooked really nicely but still kinda weird when you think about it. :) We also had emu pate, crocodile, and some other kangaroo dish. I think we went to McDonald's after.
Sydney somewhere
Here's the Four Seasons that we stayed at in Sydney. Kat gets a 50% discount on all these hotels through her company so it's a great deal! I gotta say though, that the Sofitel room was much nicer than the Four Seasons room. I think it's a bit overrated :P
Opera House. Beautiful from far away, kinda crappy and yellow up close haha.
The hotel had a picnic basket lunch that we decided to try. The weather was perfect and we had a great view. It was a weekday too so the place is pretty much empty. The picnic had duck, shrimp, salmon, cheese and crackers, fruit and delicious cheesecake. We also got them to throw in pb&j sandwiches hehe
Same picnic place. Opera house was in front of us that the bridge was to our left. If you look closely, you can see little tiny people people at the top of the bridge. We thought about going to the top but we're lazy and decided to go take a nap instead.

We waited freaking forever to pet a koala. The stupid things sleep at the top of the trees all day and they're not allowed to move them. They're not soft and cuddly at all :P
You can't really tell how big this ray is from the pic but it's HUGE. I think it was at least 6-7 ft across..
